About Dr. Khalid Kaddoura

Dr. Khalid Kaddoura is a highly accomplished professional in Condition Assessment and Infrastructure Asset Management, with over 12 years of experience in managing and leading projects globally. Currently, Dr. Kaddoura is working in consultancy where he served as a Technical Director at AECOM Canada and currently a Team Lead at GHD Canada.

Holding a PhD in Infrastructure Asset Management and Construction Management from Concordia University, Dr. Kaddoura has an extensive background in advanced condition assessment techniques, risk modeling, reliability analysis, and the development of optimized capital improvement plans. His expertise includes integrating innovative technologies and methodologies to provide sustainable solutions for managing aging infrastructure.

Dr. Kaddoura has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including the 2024 Visionary Award from the Canadian Network of Asset Managers (CNAM) and the UESI Younger Member Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). He has also published over 40 technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences, contributing significantly to advancing the field of asset management.

In addition to his professional career, Dr. Kaddoura is an Adjunct Professor at Lawrence Tech University, where he teaches courses on risk management, predictive modeling, and capital improvement planning. He is passionate about mentoring the next generation of engineers and equipping them with the tools to tackle real-world infrastructure challenges.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Kaddoura enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, travelling, and watching soccer games (Manchester United). His dedication to excellence, innovation, and sustainability continues to shape his work, making him a leading figure in the field of infrastructure management and construction engineering and management.
